i love reusing old stuff to make new stuff... going to goodwill or just my own closet and reworking jewelry, fabric, sweaters- anything to make something new and usable!
now if i could just convince my 3 year old to be potty trained my world would be great!

Time to get back to sewing. Time to get those paintbrushes moving on paper and maybe canvas this time. Time to ask how do I made jewelry people will like. I like the idea of fixing/glueing pieces together that make a piece. It's time ...to do. Yikes!!

saw a great scarf in anthropologie for "upcycling" sweaters... use the sleeves and stitch them to one another... it was incredible!!
I am really enjoying making jewelry and beading... i just took a course on wire crocheting and found it quite interesting. i had to learn to crochet in the process... lots of fun

that dress is beautiful!!! i am all about sewing right now..i just went to goodwill today and got some sweaters that i'm going to cut up and make things out of... that is whenever i get a free minute LOL!

haven't ever enjoyed knitting, just couldn't make myself like it, no idea why. But almost any other craft becomes quickly addictive to me! Sewing (just recently made a wedding dress), painting, though I don't do much any more, my true passion at the moment is scrapbooking! It has taken over my life my wallet and my living room! lol, which in turn lead me to photography... I do so love to craft!
