I have schizophrenia, and want to help people understand, it. As well as see someone handling it, in a good way.  Like May 5th I walk the red carpet for a friends studio opening, that will be filled, (the nerves before, the comfort during).  To just see that adversity does not define us.

hi shannon (and group)....

how is your document coming?  what prompted you to explore schizophrenia? i find it very interesting myself----i also find schizo-affective ''features'' very interesting as well.....that ''label'' is usually used when someone is primarily diagnosed with bipolar or some other mental 'condition'.  (i hate saying DISORDER, or ILLNESS because i truly believe that if explored, experienced, and treated carefully and with respect, many people with these ''conditions'' of an 'unnatural'' or uncommon mind---can actually tap into energies---the same energies that are out there for anyone to tap into, but most don't have the time, or the desire to travel the corridors and different levels of consciousness's.  There is a quote, i forgot who said it....

MYSTICS AND SCHIZOPHRENICS SWIM IN THE SAME OCEAN. THE DIFFERENCE IS THE SCHIZOPHRENIC DROWNS, WHILE THE MYSTIC SWIMS THE WATERS.

anyway, i guess its back to work for me...(making music in the studio downstairs....yes, crazy musician....up all night....beats, chords, the mind....ticks and the clock doesn't seem to down there!)  have a great day!

you don't necessarily have to 'avoid' the waves.....just loosen your body and become one with them...guearenteed..most relaxed state you' elver find

hi! im so glad someone opened up a topc line---or what ever you call them.

what can i help with...i know too much for my own good and if i don't know i search till i find it. who is wondering about schizophrenia?

i heard this saying once....the only difference between a mystic and a schizophrenic is the mystic can keep his head above water and swim to shore, where as the schizophrenic either gets kidnapped by the waves, or floats stagnent...with such a huge gift if only more knew how to teach---reach our Selves rather than be...pushed there. anyway, thanks for posting@!

I welcome the new members!  I am making a doc. on mental health.  I would like to get feed back on questions you would want addressed in a doc on schizophreina.
