- Hi! My name is Melanie and I write the blog Inward Facing Girl, where I delightfully ramble about life with my husband and our son, art, photography, design, exploring Seattle, blogs that I love, my five weekly obsessions, travel, TV shows, movies, books, and whatever else I think is cool that day. I also have a photography and art shop on Society6.
I'm originally from Louisiana, but Seattle feels like home. It should...I've lived here four times now. I've also spent some time in Los Angeles, helping movie studios decide how to market and edit their films, and optioning a clever (if I do say so myself) romantic comedy screenplay. Right now I'm working on turning the things that I love to do into my full-time career, and am open to writing, photography, or digital illustration freelance projects.
