as an entrepreneur and a mentor and an ENG professional
my attitude is that as long as i am a member here and not contributing
financially to Ms Moonfrye and her work, i am somewhere between a guest and a squatter.
antifeminism was dealt a serious wound this week by The Colbert Nation.
the controversial guest shows nerve professionally. she has recieved death threats

I am honored to be included in the next Chicken Soup for the Soul book due to be released in April 2014. It will be a compilation of stories directed to the Alzheimer's caregiver. Its been such a long road for me this last 11 years and its not over yet. The thing is, "ya get the life ya get and ya gotta live it". This has been ringing in my head for so long. It does keep me going.
I have no choice. I have to get out of bed, I have to earn some money, I need to care for…Continue

I must say that in spite of the challenge and heartache of watching my baby-daddy, as I like to call him lately, disappear over the last 11 years as a result of Alzheimer’s Disease, I still consider myself a very happy person. How in the world could this be true?
Well, primarily, there have been a many people who have given us inspiration, thank you Soleil for one. We first met Soleil Moon Frye almost 4 years ago, 2010, in DC during the Alzheimer’s Forum. It was a big year for…Continue

During my first pregnancy, I thought, how can I tell this baby to be anything he wants to be when I am not what I want to be.
Shortly after the birth of my son, I graduated from Parsons The New School of Design with a degree in Fashion Studies. With the help of near-by mother and mother-in-law, I was able to graduate with honors while balancing my newborn son, my husband and my home in the West Village. I would ride my bike to class and rush home during breaks to breast-feed…Continue
