It was a birthday fiesta for Jagger's 4th birthday!!! We had an amazing time this past weekend for Jagger's birthday. It was an island theme and it rained for the second year in a row. The funny part is that I think it has rained twice in the past year. Both times on her birthday. We stayed in high spirits and told her it was good luck! Which of course it was. She was also born on Saint Patricks Day! Poet hosted (always a fun way to include a sibling) and it was a blast here are some pics from the day.

My girlfriend Lisa and I went downtown and got everything for the gift bags. Lisa then rubber stamped them with a "4" in different bright colors. They were adorable and super affordable!

This picture was taken in the midst of the pinata craziness! My face says it all!

The pinata was great but totally insane because of the rain! We had tons of kids and it was muddy and messy but they had fun and most importantly nobody got hurt.

My dear friend Jon Shook made a huge feast for us and it was truly delicious. Best home made chips I've ever tasted!!!

We got eggs filled with confetti but my husband begged me to wait until after the birthday to start cracking them open.

We brought out crafts and the kids decorated bags and picture frames!!! I love having a project that they can do together.

We ordered super festive goodies online and made colorful flower arrangements. I also set out dolls that I had gotten while in Sayulita. One of our favorite parts of Mexico.

I loved our Pinatas that we got downtown for $13 dollars.

I had seen an amazing cake on Pinterest and was totally inspired. The incredible ladies at cake divas http://cakedivas.com/ pulled off this masterpiece. My daughter explained that she wanted island dolls on the cake. She is quite the party planner :) The cake was rainbow inside too.

It was a smashing success! The kids had such a blast, Poet lost a tooth, Jagger had lots of laughs, my nieces, family and friends made it special as they always do and it was great even in the rain, mud, and chaos!

Special thanks to my big bro Meeno http://www.meenophoto.com/
Suzy and Lauren for all of the great pics!!!

I will be posting a video of the fiesta soon! Also I have a few gift bags that I saved for our blog. Write in and tell me about your favorite birthday memory you have shared with your little ones to win! Would love to see pics too if you have them! Leave it in the comment section here.

My daughter June is turning one in a couple weeks and I'm so excited to throw her a fairytale themed party! She's going to look so adorable in this onesie and tutu I made her. Hope this milestone birthday is magical for her :)

It's funny because the one birthday that really sticks out in my mind is my 4th birthday! :) My mother planned a beach birthday party for my twin brother and I. Very low key but it's the one that really sticks out. So happy that you're daughter had a great birthday...which is also my wedding anniversary! My middle son turns 4 this May...they get big so fast!

on my bday in 2010 all my kids wanted for my bday was for me to come home from the hospital. I had been in the Cleveland Clinic for 2 weeks after an injury at work caused the shunt recently placed in my head to leak infected fluid into my brain. They got their wish...i came home 2 days before my birthday. It's been 2 years & in some ways i'm still recovering, but the love & hope of my kids has made it worth all the trying times:)

My mom set up a little surprise party for my 18th. I came home from work my mom said hey why don't you go change clothes.  I turn on my bedroom light and there are my 4 best friends. Who had been waiting for me. We had cake black forest my mom made from scratch and watched movies. It wasn't a huge party but it was the best. Knowing that they cared enough to surprise me.
